Long before synthetic technical fabrics made their worldwide debut in the 1970s, our parents, Grace and Lester Jones, founded the most well-respected, custom bicycling clothing business in the industry. And they loved wool. Washable, wearable wool. Jones Cycle Wear was the first company in the USA to introduce revolutionary, high performance wool products to the worlds of cycling, running, skiing, and speed skating.

From our early days of family camping and hiking trips to our adult years of competitive cycling and running, we did it all in wool lovingly made by our parents. And, we still wear some of the gear we bicycled in 30 years ago. Wool works.

Inspired by our parents, we decided to take the family fabric to the next generation. Every time we sit down at the design table, we feel the guidance of our mom’s hand in each and every pen stroke. Dad still comes by to offer suggestions and supply a few gadgets that made their business the one to emulate.

Like our parents, our business philosophy is all about quality and putting customers first. They taught us that you, the customer, must feel great and have all the tools you need to succeed, no matter what your level.
