We’re lucky; we grew up wearing wool for sports. No need to sell us on the wool story.

 From our early days of family camping and hiking trips to all those years of competitive cycling and running, we've lived in wool for decades.  And, we still wear some of the gear we bicycled in 30 years ago. (Were we that young when we started cycling?) All of it was made by our parents, Grace and Lester Jones. Long before the synthetic technical fabrics made their worldwide debut in the 70s and 80s, our parents founded the most well respected custom bicycling clothes business in the industry. And they loved wool.

Washable, wearable wool. 

They quickly evolved the business to reach many active, outdoor sports.  Back in 1978, Jones Cycle Wear was the first company in the USA to introduce revolutionary new products in wool to the worlds of cycling, skiing, speed skating and more. Jones Cycle Wear set a quality bar that we feel compelled to match. As the daughters of two of the innovators in cycling and outdoor sports clothing, Lynn and Deb are ready to take the ideas of their parents and their favorite fabric to the next level.

We're taking wool forward!

Lester is still available to offer all the suggestions and gadgets that made their business the one to emulate. 
Every time we sit down at the design table, we feel the guidance of Grace’s hand in each and every pen stroke.  She is the voice reminding us that you, the customer, must feel great and have all the tools you need to succeed no matter what your level. And just as our parents did, all our wool products are made in the USA.
